Wo Long: The End of the Vanquisher Run

Ladies and Gentlemen we have done it. I repeat the day has come and the run to "vanquish" (Defeat a boss without taking damage.) all bosses is finally over. I do hope you all had fun joining me for the journey and now we can immortalize our victory in the final lap of the challenge. While we will never know exactly how many players have accomplished this challenge along with us I would dare guess its under five percent seeing as only seven percent have even completed all achievements in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

I can say we learned a lot going through this run and I would not have gotten far with out the Fextralife wiki giving me some much needed information throughout the entire run. Though as we found out with not many people having done this challenge some things we had to learn on our own. Some like the chip damage from the ice shards and fire balls all the way down to having to double parry him instead of going in for the critical hits.

Let us also take a moment to remember the tip that saved this run, blocking. In Wo Long you are heavily incentivized to parry or simply move out of the way of attacks to conserve stamina or punish an enemy with critical damage. However those are both high risk strategies in the case of a no-hit challenge like vanquisher. One wrong move or mistimed input and even the smallest damage becomes a reset. As such blocking is something I would highly recommend to anyone else trying such a enjoyable challenge since it blocks out all physical damage. 

Hopefully in the future Wo Long will be expanded upon and we can continue this challenge or many others against even more fun bosses and surprising enemies. Perhaps we will try a different set of skills such as duel swords or possibly archery, only time will tell. We obviously have many other games lined up, and the continuation of Library of Ruina will come soon. Until then, have a chill time everyone and see you around
